Image

Gabon’s President Bongo has made the Case for Inclusive Energy Transition

The Gobabonese President Ali Bongo in discussion with a partner The Gabonese government is working tirelessly to advance and support these efforts and to promote foreign investment. Ahead of African Energy Week organized by the African Energy Chamber ( www.EnergyChamber.org ) in partnership with South Africa’s Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, we examine the work of President Ali Bongo on an inclusive energy transition. A Just Energy Transition as advocated by President Macky Sall, will benefit Senegal’s economy, and create jobs for its young people

Image
President of Senegal, Macky Sall Senegal is firmly committed to an energy transition that honors the dual priorities of socio-economic development and environmental preservation. African oil- and gas-producing countries have been facing increasing pressure this year to abandon oil and gas activities and begin relying instead on green energy sources like wind, solar, and hydrogen to help prevent climate change.
