The material granted will be used in health facilities in the Sahel, East, Center-North, North and Boucle du Mouhoun regions. This is a batch of medical equipment worth 149,667,914 FCFA, which was handed over on July 30, 2021 to the Ministry of Health. This batch of equipment acquired by UNICEF with financial support from Japan is made up of 5 medical ambulances, 6 tricycle ambulances, 10 portable ultrasound scanners and 10 electrocardiograms. This donation of equipment to the government of Burkina Faso follows the appeal launched by the Burkinabè authorities to Technical and Financial Partners for a strengthening of the health system in the face of the COVID-19 health crisis and the humanitarian crisis.
