African students living in Morocco praised the medical aid of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to fifteen countries of the Continent to fight against the health crisis of the coronavirus pandemic. These are disposable masks, visors, gowns and caps, liters of hydroalcoholic gels, boxes of chloroquine and azithromycin. This support proves once again the attachment of the Moroccan Sovereign to his Continent.

The Cherifian Kingdom does not derogate from its African vocation. Despite the health crisis linked to Covid-19, which is hitting the entire planet, Morocco has remained faithful to its commitments of solidarity by providing aid to other African countries.

The representatives of African students in Morocco warmly thanked His Majesty King Mohammed VI for this logistical support. "I would like to extend our sincere thanks to His Majesty, May God assist him, for the medical aid support given to our country in the DRC," said Momponga Mitsho, Secretary General of the DRC student community.

Lamine Ndiaye, National Executive Secretary of the Community of African student interns in Morocco (Cesam) agreed: "As the 1st magistrate of African student interns in Morocco, I take this opportunity to salute the initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May the Almighty assist him, for these gifts which he granted to these African countries in the goal of strengthening efforts in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Long live His Majesty for Africa to prosper, "he said.

The DRC, Senegal, Guinea, Swaziland, the Republic of Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Zambia, Comoros, Chad to name a few are among the countries that have benefited from this strong support. Moroccan companies have manufactured protective products and equipment supplied to African countries, in accordance with WHO standards.

This aid consists of nearly 8 million masks, 900,000 visors, 600,000 disposable charlottes, 60,000 disposable gowns, 30,000 liters of hydroalcoholic gel, as well as 75,000 boxes of chloroquine and 15,000 boxes of azithromycin.
