President Xi Jinping meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly Egypt will strengthen coordination and collaboration with China in international and regional affairs, so as to safeguard the common interests of developing countries. President Xi Jinping met on  the afternoon of August 30, 2025,   at the Tianjin Guest House with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who was in China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2025. President Xi noted that Egypt was the first Arab and African country to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China, and China-Egypt relations are now at their best in history. Ukraine and Sweden commmitted to a joint production of defence materiel

The swedish Minister for Defence Pål Jonson and his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal have signed a Letter of Intent to jointly produce defence materiel bound for Ukraine in Sweden.  The Letter of Intent outlining this new form of Swedish-Ukrainian cooperation was signed during t he visit of swedish Minister for Defence to Kyiv on 23 August 2025.  The Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine acknowledged that the security of Ukraine is integral to the security of Sweden and the broader Europe. At the outset, Minister IWAYA expressed his condolences for the deaths of eight people, including the Minister of Defense and the Minister of the Environment, in an accident that occurred in Ghana on August 6. The parties have been added to a court case brought by the African Energy Chamber against Hyve Events SA Limited.  Sankofa Events Limited and Paul Sinclair have been added to a court case brought by the African Energy Chamber (AEC) ( www.EnergyChamber.org/ ) to the High Court of the Republic of South Africa against Hyve Events SA Limited. The Edictal Citation application was granted, were Sankofa Events and Paul Sinclair will be joined in an action for damages arising from misrepresentation, unlawful completion and false marketing.
