For over three decades, the Youth Charter has championed sport as a powerful tool to engage, empower, and elevate the lives of young people and their communities. EU-Central Asia Summit: EIB Global expands strategic investments in sustainable projects

• At the EU-Central Asia Summit, EIB Global signed four memorandums of understanding with partners in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to support EU Global Gateway priorities. • With these agreements, the EIB will provide €365 million for sustainable transport, water management, and climate resilience projects. • The EIB has signed a Host Country Agreement with Uzbekistan, making it possible to take the first step to increase the EIB’s presence in the region by setting up an EIB Regional Representation. • The EIB has opened up negotiations with Turkmenistan for a Framework Agreement, the successful conclusion of which will constitute the legal basis to start operations in the country. The 2025 GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize launches its seventh annual competition today in search for Africa’s most promising young co-founders and founders across Africa who have launched businesses across Africa’s agrifood value chain “from seed to fork”. Ra’idat alumni joins United Nations (UN) Commission on the Status of Women session to discuss youth issues

The conference took place in March in New York, and brought together youth activists, civil society organisations and government officials from all over the world to share their experiences and develop policies to support development worldwide. CEO of Gobal Environment Facility, Carlos Manuel Rodríguez, to visit Sweden

The CEO of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Carlos Manuel Rodríguez will visit Stockholm on 1–2 April for meetings with Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa and Minister for Climate and the Environment Romina Pourmokhtari. In connection with the visit, meetings will also be held with the Riksdag’s Committee on Environment and Agriculture, the business sector, universities, civil society organisations and representatives of public authorities. On 1 April, Mr Dousa and Ms Pourmokhtari will meet with Mr Rodríguez. The purpose of the visit is to discuss Swedish priorities ahead of the GEF’s ninth replenishment, which will begin this year and conclude in the first half of 2026. The GEF is a key operator in global environmental efforts.
