The Federation made a point of delivering these relief packages composed of masks, hydroalcoholic gels, soaps and some food such as spaghetti, milk and sardines, to the athletes and leaders present.

The distribution of Rugby Africa prizes for the fight against the spread of covid-19, which has been postponed several times, finally took place Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Kinshasa in the Lemba commune on GD ground, during the launch of the championship by the Kinshasa League and the official resumption of oval ball activities in DR Congo. On this occasion, several friendly matches were played. 

The U14 and U12 category of schools of rugby of the Panthères, Matete, Kisenso and Star Source "La Source des Stars" rugby schools offered the public the beauty of the game of rugby playing with great enthusiasm. Then, women's rugby (R7) opposing the girls of Panthères to those of Academy, match won by the women's team of Panthères with a tight score of 12 - 10. 

The last confrontation (R15) opposed the rugby club Panthères to the club of the blue helmets " Casques Bleues" which ended in the victory of Panthères, 24 - 0, that is to say 4 marked tries including 2 successful transformations. Two tries by Archi Masamba, one from obed Mbebo and one try from Emmanuel Lomboto. The Federation made a point of handing over these relief packages composed of masks, hydro-alcoholic gels, soaps and some food such as spaghetti, milk and sardines, to the athletes and leaders present (leagues, coaches, referees, women's rugby, etc.).

In the DRC, the wearing of masks continues to be compulsory and with the start of the new school year which has just taken place throughout the country, this donation will particularly enable our athletes, mainly made up of pupils and students, to be able to make good use of them. to protect against this pandemic. 

In his speech for the occasion, the 1st vice-president of the Federation Amédée MUNSINI MBAKALA, surrounded by the other members of the federal committee, thanked Rugby Africa for this salutary gesture and invites him to do everything possible to support the file of the DRC's membership in World Rugby to give real prospects to athletes who are more motivated than ever and ready to challenge the best African teams in the perspective of the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
