The DRC National Minister of Tourism, Dr Yves BUNKULU ZOLA met the Ambassador of Turkey in the DRC, Mr. Salih BOGAÇ GÜLDERE about revitalizing cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries

The DRC National Minister of Tourism, Dr Yves BUNKULU ZOLA, has met this Thursday, October 15, 2020 in his office the Ambassador of Turkey in the DRC, Mr. Salih BOGAÇ GÜLDERE. 

The exchanges were about revitalizing cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries. 

" The DRC is full of great potential. Turkey being an advanced country in the field of tourism, we propose to share your experience to allow my country to develop its potential in the sector that I manage ". The Minister told the Turkish diplomat. 

The other side of this trade is investment. The Minister wished to see Turkey invest in the field of tourism in the DRC in view of its experience, and especially the stable and advantageous relations that there are between the two countries. 

Signature of a memorandum of understanding Tourism Minister Yves Bunkulu Zola also told the Turkish Ambassador in Kinshasa that the DRC Ministry of Tourism will propose a memorandum of understanding to Turkey in this area. The aim is to enable the Congolese to go to Turkey for training in order to build their capacities. 

Further advancing cooperation between the two countries, Turkey and the DRC in the field of tourism would benefit both countries. 

Turkey gives its agreement in principle The Turkish Ambassador praised the Minister’s initiative and the new impetus in his sector. He promised to report to whom it may concern in Ankara. He will come back in the very near future to give the answers to all the proposals. 

Turkey wishes to support the DRC in all sectors of economic and social life. The Turkish Ambassador finally proposed to His Excellency the Minister, Yves Bunkulu Zola, a possible visit to Turkey. It is a question of seeing on the spot the opportunities that Turkey can offer the DRC in the tourism sector in which Turkey is one of the most advanced country in the world.
