The DRC Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo at the Elysee Palace on Tuesday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron

The DRC Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo was received at the Elysee Palace on Tuesday by his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron for a working lunch.

The two Presidents spoke of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the DRC and France, in the security and economic fields.

President Emmanuel Macron congratulated President Tshisekedi for the successes achieved in terms of domestic policy in the DRC with the inauguration of the new government on Monday.

The two heads of state began by condemning the violence in Chad and called for the return of constitutional order and respect for public freedoms.

Clearly E. Macron said they support Chad's transition and stability but not a succession plan.
