DRC Pesident Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo met with Ambassadors of USA, France, UK, Belgium and the head of Monusco
DRC President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo received this Thursday 29th July 2021 at the Palace of the Nation in Kinshasa, the Ambassadors of the USA, Mike Hammer, the Ambassador of France; François Pujolas, the Ambassador United Kingdom; Emily Malatman, the Ambassador of Belgium; Johan Indekeu, the Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO; Bintou Keita and the DRC Minister of Defense; Gilbert Kabanda Kurhenga and the Chief of Staff of the FARDC; Célestin Mbala.
Discussions focused on security issues and in particular the acceleration of actions to stabilize eastern DRC. The diplomats lent their support to the efforts led by the Congolese authorities to establish a lasting peace in the east of the country.
