"The Belt and Road" Promotes China Manufacturing towards the Future - Dongfeng Motor Shines at China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit

From December 14th to 15th, 2022, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Ecuador's foreign trade departments jointly hosted the 15th China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit. Dongfeng Motor (http://www.Dongfeng-global.com/), as the only exhibitor in the automobile industry, was invited to the summit, and its representative models, VOYAH FREE and DONGFENG E70 were brought to the summit.

In recent years, Dongfeng Motor has seized the opportunity of green transformation in overseas markets and pushed the export of new energy vehicles to "accelerate". According to the latest report of Ecuadorian Automobile Industry Chamber of Commerce, in the first half of this year, China brand new cars were hot in Ecuador, accounting for nearly 40% of the market share. As the only automobile industry exhibitor at this summit, Dongfeng Motor welcomed the visit of the President Ecuador, the President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and people from various chambers of commerce. Mainstream media at home and abroad also gathered at Dongfeng Motor booth and reported on the vehicles present.

It is known that Dongfeng brand has a first-Mover advantage in the local electric vehicle market, and it entered Ecuador through various project cooperation in the early stage, which is very helpful to the promotion of brand image. DONGFENG E70, electric pickup RICH 6, VOYAH FREE and other Dongfeng models are all present in Ecuador. At this summit, not only did VOYAH FREE make a wonderful appearance as an exhibition car, but DONGFENG E70 also played an important role in receiving the designated car for the summit.

Except Ecuador, Dongfeng Motor has accelerated its market expansion for many years, actively integrated into other South American markets including Chile and Peru, and achieved outstanding results.
