Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) Supports Women Employment in Chad


Following the training, a certification ceremony in which officials from the Ministry and relevant institutions and families of the trainees participated was held.



Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided equipment support for 50 Chadian women whose education is covered by TİKA to enable them to engage in income-generating activities by creating added value in their agricultural products.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Women, Family and Child Protection of Chad and in cooperation with the Women and Synergy Cooperative and TİKA, the instructors, appointed by the Ministry and Cooperative regarding the fields of the processing, packaging, and marketing of agricultural products and vegetables, and creating added value for Chadian women, provided a one-week training in the center named Women’s House within the Ministry.

Following the training, a certification ceremony in which officials from the Ministry and relevant institutions and families of the trainees participated was held.

TİKA provided the trainees with all the consumables, machines, and equipment used throughout the training.

TİKA supported the women entrepreneurs through different materials and equipment such as grinding and drying machines, weighing machines, various spices, and packages.
