Le Conseil d’administration du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement ( www.AfDB.org ) a approuvé, le 8 décembre 2022, l’octroi d’un don de 7 443 664 dollars, dans le cadre du projet « Infrastructure sanitaire de qualité de la CEDEAO pour lutter contre les maladies tropicales négligées », déployé aux frontières communes du Burkina Faso, du Niger et du Mali. L’Organisation ouest-africaine de la santé (OOAS) sera l’agence d’exécution du projet, financé sur les ressources du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), le bras concessionnel du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement. Le FAD assume ainsi 90 % du coût total du projet, de près de 8,3 millions de dollars, l’OOAS couvrant le reste à charge.
